  • For years people said You should write a book.

In theory, I agreed but when a Brain Aneurysm got in the way, the practical aspects coupled with sluggishness prompted me to talk about it rather than writing, which would be far more fatiguing if you know what I mean like. you can get in touch here if you like:) mailto:Stephen@drumlago.com

  • Doctor Hopeless
    Dec 6 2023

In an unforgettable encounter, Heide ran into a young doctor outside the ICU who lacked any sense of empathy, it appears that that she had once faltered in predicting a patient's positive outcome. Rather than risking another misjudgment, the doctor looked to shroud every prognosis in pessimism, extinguishing the faintest glimmer of hope for this patient and his family. Heide Disregarded her comments and couldn't help but probe the absence of empathy in the doctor's approach. Leaving her with one  parting request “Doctor may I at least hope?” " From then on she only asked the nurses for updates: the frontline experience often provides a richer, more empathetic understanding of a patient's condition and journey toward recovery. Than Doctors. the difference between God and a Doctor comes to mind!
