Welcome to the second episode of the new series Faithful Encounters! I am so excited for you all to hear Josies testimony along with some encouraging words on forgiveness and the importance of knowing how to pray. We both pray that you are aware of Gods hand over your life and the fact that He is the One writing your testimony; He will always be sovereign! 

Hey ya'll! I am so excited to start the Faithful Encounters series, a series that will share peoples testimonies and hopefully provide you all with encouragement and reminders of how faithful the Lord is. Throughout the first episode of Faithful Encounters, my brother Adonis and I have a conversation about the key points in his testimony and how God softened his heart and opened his eyes to understanding the gospel and the need for Jesus in his life. My hope for you all listening is to see Gods faithfulness in other people's lives and trust that if the Lord is faithful to him he will be faithful to you! Hey ya'll! In this weeks episode I really waned to talk about how free it is to be a Christian and how our desires will change as our relationship with God grows. Verses mentioned: John 14:15, 1 John 2:3, 1 John 5:3, Philippians 1:6, Galatians 5:16-26

* I want to correct what I said at 2:33 : I accidentally said that God created us in His image to glorify us, what I meant to say is that God created us in His image to glorify HIM and have a relationship with Him. God is the one that gets all the glory and praise! 

I wanted to continue talking about foundational truths in christianity and in todays episode I talk about what salvation is and what Jesus is saving us from. In the episode I explained it in three sections: what are we being saved from, who saves us, and how do we receive this salvation. 

I highly encourage you guys to read the verses I mentioned: romans 6:23, acts 16:30-31, 1 Timothy 2:4-6, 1 Timothy 1:15, John 3:16, John 3:36, John 5:24, Romans 5:6-11, John 14:6, Galatians 5:1, Ephesians 2:8-9, Ephesians 2:1-5. Genesis 22:1-9 is when Abraham is made righteous because of his faith, I confused it with Genesis 12 in the episode. 

Hey ya'll! This episode is another long one but I hope you were all able to learn how cool the gospel is and how it really is the good news. Make sure you listen to the previous episode in order to best understand sin and Jesus' sacrifice. The gospel is owned by God and is  meant to show who Jesus is and what He did. Jesus is a man but is also God. He is the long awaited Messiah and the Savior of our world, for all who believe and have faith in Him.
