Children's Day is often overlooked, but throughout His earthly ministry, Jesus consistently demonstrated how valuable children are in the eyes of God. He welcomed them, blessed them, protected them, and even used them as examples to teach adults important spiritual lessons.
In this episode of Proclamation Station, we explore what Scripture reveals about Jesus' love for children and why He pointed to their humility, trust, sincerity, and teachable spirit as qualities that please God. Through passages such as Matthew 18, Matthew 21, Luke 9, and Mark 10, we discover that children are far more important to God's Kingdom than many people realize.
Together, we discuss why Jesus defended children, why He warned against causing them harm, and what adults can learn from the childlike faith He repeatedly praised. We also reflect on our responsibility to love, respect, encourage, and care for the young people God has entrusted to us.
Listen now and be reminded why children matter to Jesus—and why they should matter to us as well
