On Palm Sunday, the crowd gets Jesus’s identity right but misses his mission, praising a King they expect to seize power while he rides in humbly toward the cross. This week's message invites all of us to ask whether we will still cry “Hosanna” when Jesus refuses to fit our expectations and instead redefines power through surrender and sacrifice.

In this week's message from our Journey to the Cross series, we follow Jesus’ three passion predictions in Mark 8–10 and hear his upside-down call: deny yourself, take up your cross, and trade the world’s ladder for the way of humble service.

From the cross at the center of our worship space to the table of communion, we’re invited to remember that it was never about performance or deserving! It’s about the King who came not to be served, but to serve, and who forms us into people who do the same.
