    Supreme Court upholds birthright citizenship under the Constitution's 14th Amendment, ruling unconstitutional President Donald Trump's Executive Order declaring that children born to parents who are in the United States illegally or temporarily are not American citizens; Supreme Court also rules that states may may ban transgender girls from participating in sports at publicly funded schools; U.S. House legislative business remains at a standstill with a handful of House Republicans refusing to let bills come up for debate and votes until the Senate passes the SAVE America Act, which would require proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote and restrict mail in ballots. Today those Republicans blocked the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA); Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent urges oil and gas companies to lower their prices, now that the war with Iran is in the peace negotiating stage, echoing President Trump's posts, saying, 'we're watching'; First Congressional hearing today in 50 years on a former CIA program called MKUltra that experimented on human subjects with mind-control techniques and behavior-altering drugs; House passes a children's online safety bill, but it is different than what is being considered in the Senate; Rep.     The Supreme Court rejected President Trump's attempt to immediately remove Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook from office, while at the same time expanding presidential authority to remove other federal officials. The justices also upheld state laws allowing mail ballots postmarked by Election Day to be counted even if they arrive afterward. On Capitol Hill, Politico reports House Speaker Mike Johnson has officially sent the bipartisan housing affordability bill to President Trump's desk after Congress approved it last week. The measure had been delayed after the president called on lawmakers to prioritize the SAVE America Act, the Republican election reform bill that remains stalled. The dispute is now spilling over into the annual defense authorization bill, with some House Republicans threatening to oppose a procedural vote unless the SAVE Act is included.
