    May 12 2026

How do you rebound from difficulties in your business? Setbacks, health struggles, financial fiascos. It’s a matter of “when,” not “if” you’ll be thrown some obstacles on your business journey. 🚧

And when that moment arrives, resilience is the difference between success and failure. Cultivating the capability to rebound from difficulties is not just beneficial. It's vital for making your mark.

But it doesn’t make it pleasant or easy.

Petina Tieman [www.completebs.com.au] knows a thing or two about setbacks and the need for resilience in business (and life, for that matter). She’s an incredible Indigenous businesswoman with a remarkable story.

In this episode, we talk about what it takes to thrive on your entrepreneurial adventure. 🎙️ ✨

  • Is Turning a Personal Struggle Into a Business Genius or Crazy? | Ep 156
    Mar 11 2026

Is it actually a good idea to turn your personal challenges into a business opportunity… or is that just a romantic story we tell ourselves? 🤔

It’s a question that comes up regularly in my coaching business.

During my recent kōrero with Miah Faumuina, founder of Dulve, it was the perfect time to address it.

In her mid-20s Miah was dealing with hormone and gut health issues, and when she started reading the ingredient labels on the plant-based milks she was drinking, she realised many of them contained highly processed ingredients that didn’t sit well with her.
