    On the 4th of November 1970, a mother and her young child arrived, by accident to Social services offices in temple city California. Social workers we instantly alarmed and concerned by the young girls appearance. She was struggling to walk, couldn't talk and looked so much younger than her 13years, what the go on to discover is years of isolation, severe child abuse and neglect and that this girl, for almost her entire life, had Ben strapped to a make shift potty chair made by her father.
