They told you the LTD event fees were “just for rent.” They told you it was “just a service.”

They told you there was no profit, no admission, and no sales tax obligation. That explanation only works if no one is getting paid. But they are. In this episode, we break down the real reason LTD must charge sales tax for EVERY LTD event. It's not simply because people attend LTD events, but because higher-ups receive income from EVERY LTD event.

Once LTD event fees become a source of compensation for LTD higher-ups, the transaction changes. It is no longer a pass-through. It is taxable revenue. We explain this in plain language. Why calling admission a “service” doesn’t erase tax liability.
