The physical, mental, and emotional selves are all connected and matter to each other. There is a delicate balance that must be kept for us to feel, function, and experience our lives to their fullest potential. 
Learning to listen to what each aspect of 'us" is telling us is important to be able to focus our attention where it most needs to be so that balance can be maintained.
