Name: Ishy's Fire

Inspiration: In honor of our interview with Taylor Napier, I made a cocktail for Maksim. Since Taylor was from Tennesse, & according to Priyanka likes moonshine, I created a moonshine cocktail for Maksim. I incorporated figs since that is something both Maksim & Alanna love & are craving while in the Two Rivers.

Cocktail Recipe:
In a shaker, pour:

2 oz apple pie moonshine

1 tbs fig preserves

0.5 oz lemon juice

2 drops saline

add ice, shake

double strain into glass with fresh ice

top with soda

express & garnish with a lemon peel

Name: Ishy's Fire

Inspiration: The inspiriation for this comes from @diceydice. This is a twist on a sour, & when I tried it, I thought of Ishy. Very complex flavors for someone who might be a little mad. The bitterness of the Campari reflects Ishy's bitterness of the world, while the lavender bitters provide something unexpected. The spiciness of the hot sauce made me think of Ba'alzamon's flaming eyes.

Cocktail Recipe:

In a shaker, pour:

0.5 oz lime juice

0.5 oz lemon juice

4 drops lavender bitters

0.25 oz Campari

0.25 oz simple syrup

1.75 oz bourbon

drizzle hot sauce

2 drops saline

1 oz egg white

dry shake, then add ice, & shake till cold

strain into glass

Jenn took a very fun trip recently & was not only a wonderful experience to hear about but it also sparked some hilarious tangents!

Name: Graendal's Collection

Inspiration: This cocktail has the golden hue of Graendal's hair, & a mix of luxurious flavors you wouldn't expect to pair well together. I'd like to imagine she discovered a variety of flavors & spices from her collection of "pets". I found this cocktail called Spice Trade from "The Educated Barfly" who says it was created by Nathan Howard, a bartender from LA.

Cocktail Recipe:

In a shaker, pour:

2 oz gin

0.75 oz cinnamon syrup

0.75 oz lemon juice

3 basil leaves

muddle

add ice, shake, then double strain into glass

garnish with basil leaf on top
