Introducing the Worry Not Podcast. Your out-loud forum for what's on the mind of most older millennials. We're cracking open the honest box (and a drink or two) and having the conversations we wish we had with a healthy dose of helpfulness and hilarity. From your 30's and beyond life can get a hell of a lot more complicated, so we're here to show that worry not - it's not just you, sometimes we all need a little deep and meaningful to nudge us in the right direction.© 2026 Tim and Sim Hygiene & Healthy Living Psychology Psychology & Mental Health Social Sciences

  • The Guilt, The Gluttony And The Joy of Me Time
    Feb 8 2026

When is the last time you had some guilt-free me time? Whether it's feeling bad for taking the time to begin with or the guilt you feel afterwards, how can we create a healthy habit out of being a little bit selfish? In this episode, Tim and Sim talk about the relationship we have with ourselves, and why it’s so often the first one we neglect.

Now, self-care doesn’t have to mean massages, manicures, or reinventing your life. Sometimes it’s just an hour doing nothing in particular. Sometimes it’s an outlet that belongs only to you. And sometimes it’s realising that if you never get to regulate or recharge, everything else starts to suffer too.

So, if you find yourself trapped by the thought of wasting time, or freeze when you get a little bit of freedom, then it's time to start micro-dosing on some downtime and investing in your own happiness bank. Even if it’s just an afternoon bingeing Netflix or reading some good ol' fairy smut, looking after yourself shouldn’t feel this hard, this loaded, or this controversial. Take your time with this episode, this one’s for you.

  • Whinge, Rage, Repeat: Why Money Is on Everyone’s Mind Right Now
    Oct 29 2025

When did a banana turn into a bar of gold? Or a bag of grapes a luxury? We're deep in a cost-of-living crisis and the squeeze is causing pure, unrelenting rage often misdirected at our unsuspecting, lunchbox-leaving children who have no idea of the value of their leftovers.

This isn’t just a discussion about financial woes, it’s a raw, honest conversation about feeling the pinch, shielding kids from adult worries, and the shared anxiety that spans across communities and generations. We're experiencing a death by a thousand cuts while juggling side gigs, budgeting madly, and questioning every grocery item.

Although the stress is universal, sharing it lightens the load. So while we try to figure out this post-Covid, inflation-fueled minefield, Tim and Sim are in the trenches with you. If you’re feeling squeezed, worried, or just need to let off steam about the cost of living, this episode is for you. And whoever solves the banana crisis first, the next bottle of Aldi wine is on us. 🍷

  • Coming Down From The Holiday High
    Jul 28 2025

Ever get that sinking feeling after a break away that you've been sucked back into routine and it's like you never left? The holiday blues are hitting hard and remind us just how transformative stepping out of everyday routine is. Besides the hefty credit card bill, a vacation gives us perspective, presence, and permission to relax. But we can’t always jet to Europe or Fiji, right?

Sim and Tim are here to save you money: Instead of chasing big vacations, take what you enjoyed and bring it home and recreate those moments. If it's a slow meal with friends, laughter and delicious food, then remind yourself that it’s the company and mood that matter, not the location.

We're on a mission to inject regular “micro-holidays” into daily life. Not just going to the local mountains, but actively creating moments that break the routine, making them feel special and out-of-the-ordinary - without ever getting on a plane.

If you’ve found yourself wishing the “holiday version” of you could stick around all year, you’re not alone. Let’s bring some of that magic into the everyday one small, intentional moment at a time.
