• Do You Actually Have a Type...Or Were You Taught One? | Studs, Femmes & Modern Dating
    Jun 9 2026

Everybody says they have a type... but is it really about looks? This week, Coach A and Dr. D get into a conversation that starts with attraction and quickly turns into something much deeper.

We're talking labels, gender roles, masculinity, femininity, and how much of who we're attracted to is shaped by society versus who we genuinely are. Why do queer women seem to move so fast in relationships? Why do certain identities get stereotyped while others get romanticized? And are we attracted to people—or to what they represent?

From the expectations placed on femmes and studs to the difference between authenticity and performance in dating, nothing is off limits. We unpack what "good" queer representation actually looks like, why vulnerability feels so risky, and how the boxes society creates can both help and hurt us.

It's thoughtful, it's honest, and yes, it's a little messy.

Whether you're questioning labels, navigating queer relationships, or just wondering why people love the way they do, this conversation might have you rethinking a few things.

  • Somebody Need To Pause The Simulation. ASAP!
    May 26 2026

A lot of people out here are lost right now. And not just “I need to find a new hobby” lost. Like real life identity crisis type lost. The world weird as hell, everybody in survival mode, people just trying to make it from one day to the next, and somewhere in the middle of all that…a lot of us don’t even know who we are anymore.

In this episode, we really had a raw conversation about being stuck between the old version of yourself and the person you know you’re supposed to become. Like you know you can’t stay the same…but you also don’t fully know what the next version of you is supposed to look like yet. And that feeling? A LOT of people are sitting in that right now.

We talked about how childhood, trauma, pressure, social media, expectations, hustle culture, all of that plays a role in how people move through life. A lot of people aren’t even living intentionally for real, they're just reacting to whatever life throws at them. Wake up. Go to work. Pay bills. Doom scroll. Repeat. And after a while you start losing yourself in the process.

We also got into how social media got everybody performing instead of actually living. People chasing aesthetics, titles, money, validation, and whole time they don’t even know what genuinely makes them happy. We talked about purpose, passion, vision boards, expression, finding your people, and learning how to separate what YOU actually want from what everybody else told you to want.

This episode really for anybody in that weird season of life where you're outgrowing old versions of yourself in real time. If you been feeling mentally stuck, emotionally tired, disconnected, confused about your future, or like life been forcing you into survival mode…yeah. Very much “late night drive thinking about your life” energy.

  • The Saxophones Are FOR SURE Getting Louder
    May 13 2026

Everybody’s laughing at those videos of kids struggling to read out loud… sounding out words like it’s their first day on Earth.

    …but nobody’s asking why that’s happening.

We’re talking about how kids are getting passed through school without actually knowing how to read fr, how the bar got lowered so quietly nobody noticed, and how we ended up with a whole generation that can scroll all day but can’t break down a paragraph.

And it’s deeper than just reading. This is about thinking. Decision-making. Not getting played by the internet.

Because if you can’t read well… you can’t think well. And that’s where it gets real.

It’s funny until you realize it’s not. Press play.

  • Dynamite, Degrees, and Digital Delusion
    May 6 2026

This episode?? We were ALL over the place in the best way.

We start off talking about concerts, TikTok trends, and how people act when it comes to their favorite artists. Then somehow… SOMEHOW… we end up talking about a woman throwing dynamite into her boyfriend’s room??? Like… where do you even get dynamite from?? And why was that your solution???

We get into “wisdom flexing” — how people are trying to look deep online but not everybody is actually thinking like that for real. Then we touch on AI and how it’s lowkey making people lazier thinkers, and what that means long term. Especially for people who already have to work twice as hard to get ahead.

We also talk about how everything is changing around us — malls dying, social spaces disappearing, even random stuff like how people act in hair salons now. Nothing feels as real or as connected as it used to, and nobody is really talking about that enough.

Oh and the Atlanta “boot man” situation because ??? that story alone is worth pressing play.

If you like real conversations, random pivots, and a little bit of “how did we even get here?” energy…this one’s for you. 🎧

  • Parties vs Kickbacks, Money, Non-Monogamy… & The Meg + Klay Situation

-What’s the difference between a kickback and a party (because yes, there’s a difference and it matters)?

-Majors, money, resources—all the stuff you should be thinking about but nobody really breaks down. Like how to actually use college instead of letting it use you. We break down one of our REAL class schedules from a semester in college.

-Meg & Klay: Relationships, communication, knowing yourself, and why a lot of people be in situations they don’t even fully understand.

This episode was a wild ride, so buckle up! Throughout all of it, we’re sharing real stories, real experiences, and the stuff people usually figure out the hard way.

  • This Episode Has ADHD
    Apr 21 2026

This episode is unhinged. No agenda. No script. Just whatever wanted to come up.

We started talking… and somehow ended up everywhere. From AI to social media brain rot, celebrity nonsense, and the weird ways the internet is shaping all of us in real time.

    We get into:
    • Why everybody thinks AI is either gonna save us or destroy us (and why both takes are lazy)
    • How social media quietly fried our attention spans
    • The internet making violence, chaos, and stupidity feel normal
    • Cultural stuff people love to copy… but don’t actually understand
    • And random stories that had no business being that funny

It’s one of those conversations where you laugh…then halfway through you’re like “wait… nah that’s actually real.”

Just honest thoughts, wild takes, and the kind of convo you’d have with your people when nobody’s trying to sound smart. Press play if you’ve ever felt like the internet is doing a little too much to your brain.
