The universal practice of shamanism dates back over 100,000 years. Originally shamanism was all about connecting the land, the plants, the animals, the Elements, and the Moon, stars, planets, galaxies, and the Universe. Shamanism was practiced for survival. The sky beings gave Shamans around the world all the news of what was happening on the planet and what was to come. The Spirits taught Shamans how to deeply connect to the land to build shelter and to find food.

In a modern technological society, our needs changed and we turned to the practice of shamanism for our personal needs.
