  • Marcelo Balboa, Aaron Marino & Antonio Centeno: World Cup, Shark Tank & Loafers | TPMS Ep. 45
    Jul 2 2026

This week Pat and Dwayne Kennedy ring in the 4th of July, remember Stacey King, and Marcelo Balboa checks in from the World Cup to explain how Paraguay wrecked everyone's bracket.

Then two of the internet's original men's-style influencers, Aaron Marino (Alpha M.) and Antonio Centeno (Real Men Real Style), join back to back to talk nose hair, Sears jackets, and how a Marine Corps uniform was essentially the kickstarter to an entire business empire.

Aaron traces his brand back to a childhood on a miniature Sicilian donkey farm outside Philadelphia, and the Porsche dealership moment that convinced him his midlife crisis had officially arrived. There's also a very specific colonoscopy story that earns him the title of "ass man," and a shared goal with Antonio to be the best-looking guy at his own funeral. It's equal parts vanity, mortality, and miniature donkeys. (Should we get one for the studio??)

  • Joabe Barbosa & Marcelo Balboa: Running Every Street in Chicago & World Cup Fever | TPMS Ep. 44
    Jun 26 2026

Pat's back from Hawaii — Pearl Harbor, potential pineapple smuggling, and a flat tire the day before departure — while Dwayne was in Norfolk, Nebraska for the Johnny Carson Comedy Festival.

Marcelo Balboa checks in from the World Cup: USA clinched first place, Turkey's coach is getting fired, Cape Verde's goalkeeper went from 25K to 13 million Instagram followers overnight, and FIFA's hydration breaks are getting booed in stadiums— turns out it wasn't quite hot enough at Norway vs. Senegal in the rain.

Then, a man from Brazil & London ran every street, block, and dead-end in Chicago, 5,000 miles over 680 days, because doctors told him to start jogging. Joabe Barbosa, Guinness World Record holder several times over, joins Pat and Dwayne to break down what he actually found out there. He’s ran half marathons in slides, rain boots, cleats, and a ten-foot inflatable bee costume, the social media lies about Chicago's streets, and why Uptown is his least favorite neighborhood. Also: Why and how Joabe tried to finish last in the Chicago Half Marathon.

  • Abbey Murphy: South Side Gold, Jason Kelce Beer Chugs & PWHL Draft | The Pat McGann Show Ep. 43
    Jun 18 2026

First up, Marcelo Balboa checks in from the World Cup with a quick field report — US looking sharp, Spain humbled by Cape Verde, and FIFA apparently Americanizing soccer one hydration break at a time.

Then Pat and Dwayne sit down with South Side legend Abbey Murphy: Evergreen Park native, two-time Olympian, University of Minnesota all-time goals leader, recently drafted 2nd overall to Seattle Torrent, and the only person with a street named after her who found out by looking up mid-walk.

Abbey walks through going from rollerblading with the neighbor kid to winning gold in Italy at 22, including the Covid Olympics in Beijing where the afterparty was 150 athletes crammed into one room. She also comes clean about cheating during that Jason Kelce beer chug (Megan Keller was involved), the silver medal that got dragged across the concrete by her dog, and what it's like to trash talk in multiple languages.

Oh, and the PWHL expansion happened — and Chicago still doesn't have a team. Someone fix that.

  • The Life & Death Episode: World Cup, Wakes & Catholic Funerals w/ Fr. Hurley & Tom Curley | Ep. 42
    Jun 12 2026

A priest and a mortician walk into a podcast. Amen, and subscribe.

First up on the pitch, Marcelo Balboa. former U.S. Men's National Team defender and World Cup alum (1990, 1994, 1998), stops by at the top to break down the World Cup — including dark horse teams, hacky sack's unlikely comeback, and why the US needs to get to the quarterfinal, minimum.

Then, Father Tom Hurley and funeral director Tom Curley join Pat and Dwayne Kennedy to cover the full Catholic life cycle: from baptism to burial, with a detour through hide-and-go-seek in a funeral home at age seven. Also: what does a dead body actually sound like? Can Catholics be buried naked? (Asking for a nudist.) And is “Here I Am Lord” the ultimate Catholic banger?

  • Operation Schvitz: Mitch Rosen on Running Chicago Sports Radio | The Pat McGann Show Ep. 41
    Jun 4 2026

Taking a page out of Mitch Rosen’s book, this episode was posted at 3am. (But don’t worry, we scheduled it for 9:03am). The VP of Odyssey Sports and architect of 670 The Score joins Pat and Dwayne to talk about building one of the most iconic sports radio brands in the country.

The origin story alone is worth it, a 12-year-old from Skokie writes a fan letter to an overnight DJ and ends up producing his show at WGN for $13,000 a year. From there, Mitch traces the unlikely chain of events that put the Cubs on The Score the same season they finally ended a 108-year drought, the hardest phone call he's ever made, and what "taking over Bulls broadcast rights mid-season" actually looks like in practice.

The episode closes, naturally, at the Division Street Bathhouse: 200 degrees, communal, beloved by Chelios, Belushi, and old Russian men alike. Pat and Dwayne? TBD…

  • Plan B Banger: A Career & Podcast Retrospective w/ Pat McGann & Tom Bambara | Ep. 40
    May 29 2026

40 days and 40 nights? This podcast hit 40 episodes in under a year. The Lord had other plans for our guest, so we pivoted. Consider this episode an act of faith.

For the milestone episode, producer Tom flips the script and puts Pat in the hot seat for a full career retrospective. From his first open mic at Chicago and Halsted, to hosting at Zanies, getting fired into full-time comedy, and walking out to Pearl Jam at the Ed Sullivan Theater for his Letterman debut.

The two also look back at 40 episodes of The Pat McGann Show; from a conference room to a real studio, Dwayne Kennedy's philosopher energy, Bill Rancic's pasta, and the time Lio Cundiff babysat Tom’s son after he saved a baby's life.

Here's to the next 40 — and Dave, if you're reading this, episode 80 is yours.

  • Bringing Back the Factoids with Ryan Chiaverini | The Pat McGann Show Ep. 38
    May 14 2026

We're celebrating Pat's 50th with three Chicago guys and one matching outfit. This week, ABC7 Chicago's lead sports anchor and Windy City Live co-host Ryan Chiaverini joins Pat and Dwayne for a long-overdue conversation.

Ryan shares what it was actually like to replace Oprah Winfrey on live television the day after she retired — including the Yahoo comment section, which was not kind. Also: Mike Tyson's tigers (he had a whole house for them), the celebrity who broke Ryan's heart the most, and John Travolta calling a piece of family history "the coolest factoid anyone's ever told me."

That factoid? Ryan's dad had a song in Pulp Fiction — and the royalty check situation is exactly what you'd expect. Along the way: Route 66 road trips, the economics of lounge singing, and why Dwayne's show may leave you in tears.
