After the Lockout Podcast's first season in 2024 we are back to preview the 2025 season with Josh, Hawko, Ryan and Croxy for all your AFL Fantasy needs.

We review all the teams in ladder order in reverse for 2025 in the lead up to the start of the 2025 AFL season.

The boys talk about players from a fantasy standpoint who excited them from 2024, and also who they are looking to turn to in 2025.

After we make our way through the whole league, we will run through our Defence, Midfield, Forwards and Rucks and give you insights into who we are finalising in our own teams for 2025.

  • Round 16 Preview - Last Bye Round, Complete Your Team - AFL Fantasy 2026
    Jun 24 2026

Note: Hawko was tuning in from Soeul last night, and due to that, the last 18mins of his audio is currently missing. You may hear some empty gaps when he's talking during the last 18mins of the podcast. Will rectify this if possible.

The final bye round is here, and for many AFL Fantasy coaches, this is the week that could shape the rest of the season. Rankings are tightening, finding cash generation to complete your team is harder, and every trade carries more weight than ever before.

This week, the full crew is back together as the boys break down their Round 15 scores, rankings and team values, while discussing how they're planning to attack the final week of the byes. There is plenty of debate around premium targets, value picks, and whether coaches should be chasing points or building towards a completed team.

The episode also dives into the biggest trade decisions of the week, including Jordan De Goey, Sam Durham, Luke Jackson and Jordan Dawson, while touching on injury concerns around Sinclair, Xerri and Tom De Koning. The boys also hand out Brownlow votes, call out the biggest flops of the round, and debate the players who could make or break the run home.

Plus, Just The Tips returns as the lads make their Round 16 predictions and look ahead to what promises to be a huge second half of the fantasy season. If you're looking to finish the bye rounds strongly and set yourself up for a charge home, this is an episode you won't want to miss.
