  • The Devil Rides Out
    Jun 24 2026
Upon its UK release in July 1968, The Devil Rides Out did not exactly set the world on fire and did even worse when it made it to the US, but sometimes the world simply needs time to catch up with art. Now it's generally considered to be one of the crown jewels of Hammer although opinions may still differ to this day...

Adam is the ringleader in this Circus Maximus of an episode that covers a certain Sir, Satan, Scribbling, and Skateboarding.

    Jun 15 2026
Through their early years, Hammer had some fine successes with cheaply adapting BBC properties to the big screen with The Quatermass Xperiment being their most successful of them all, but by the time the grumpy professor had come along, the formula had already proven to be a winner thanks to a certain radio detective...

Being a huge Hammer fan for about fifty years I love this podcast. They are looking at all the Hammer films from The Mystery of the Mary Celeste right up to the brand new ones. The podcast is very informative, very interesting and also very amusing. Definitely recommend if you're a Hammer fan or a horror movie fan in general. I await each new episode with great anticipation!! Well done gentlemen!!!

Excellent podcast!

I was initially put off by the single one star review, but due to the lack of Hammer focused podcasts out there, decided to give it a chance. After listening to a few episodes, I can honestly say that this podcast is brilliant. It's a very professionally produced, entertaining and informative retrospective of Hammer films. I encourage all Hammer fans to give it a listen.

Seems more like a vehicle for the 3 narratora to try and prove they are witty and amusing, which they aren't. And just the way they deliver their narrative is so cheesy and amateurish. That may be deliberate I dont know.

Didnt really learn anything new from this episode about the production of rhe film and i didnt really want to liaten to 3 geeks desperately trying to be funny just to fill the time theyve got left. Quite tiresome to listen to.

Disappointing
