These are the stories every American learns as a kid, the legends that show up on murals and coins and every Fourth of July without fail.

But what if most of them were invented? Not exaggerated — invented. By poets, booksellers, and loyal grandsons who needed a good story and weren't above making one up. The real versions are messier, stranger, and in at least one case involved two men in Europe who didn't survive trying to replicate the experiment.

The guys dig into who actually built these myths, when, and why — and what the real stories look like underneath them. Turns out 250 years of American history comes with a lot of fine print.

The search for Noah's Ark doesn't end with the story — it ends in the mountains of eastern Turkey.

In Part 2, Eric, Jorge, and Sean pick up where they left off and dive into the physical evidence: a 515-foot boat-shaped formation sitting 18 miles south of Mount Ararat, ground-penetrating radar scans revealing angular structures 20 feet underground, and 2024 soil tests showing organic matter nearly three times higher inside the formation than outside.

They cover Ron Wyatt — the nurse anesthetist who spent 22 years and 25 trips convinced he'd found the ark — and the two scientists who came after him and ended up on opposite sides. The guys also get into the Black Sea catastrophe theory, the alternative mountain candidates, and all six major theories on what the ark actually was — or wasn't.

Before the Bible, before Genesis, before any written scripture as we know it — there was the flood. Eric, Sean, and Jorge dive into one of the oldest, most widespread, and most hotly debated stories in human history: Noah's Ark.

Did a catastrophic flood actually destroy an ancient civilization? The evidence is hard to ignore. 217 distinct cultures across six continents — from the ancient Sumerians to the Aztecs to Aboriginal Australians — all independently carry a version of the same story: a great flood, a righteous man, a massive boat, and a world reborn. That's not a coincidence. That's a memory.

In Part 1, the guys trace the flood narrative from its oldest known origins in ancient Mesopotamia — including the Sumerian tale of Ziusudra, the Akkadian story of Atrahasis, and the Epic of Gilgamesh — and show how these accounts predate the Biblical story of Noah by centuries, sharing nearly identical details beat for beat. They break down the Genesis account in full: the dimensions of the ark (spoiler: it's the size of a football field and a half), the 150 days on water, the raven, the dove, and the olive branch. They also dig into what the Bible actually says about where the ark landed — and why "the Mountains of Ararat" is far more complicated than you've been told.

Then they get into the physical search: a French explorer who pulled hand-worked wood from a glacier 13,000 feet up a Turkish mountain, an Apollo 15 astronaut who said finding Noah's Ark was harder than walking on the moon, and the boat-shaped formation in eastern Turkey that researchers are actively scanning with ground-penetrating radar right now.
