  • Scott Moe: From farmer to Saskatchewan Premier to Trudeau foe
    Jun 23 2026

Premier Scott Moe joins Christy Clark for an animated interview about how he has helped transform Saskatchewan into an economic powerhouse at a time when other provinces are struggling.

Like his parents, Moe was a farmer but wasn’t interested in politics until he got involved with boosting businesses in his hometown. Since becoming a Saskatchewan Party MLA in 2011, Moe has always championed energy, economic growth and resource development, and he got into some big battles with former prime minister Justin Trudeau over it.

Moe has been laser-focused on developing Saskatchewan’s resources and exporting them around the world but has also faced western alienation in his own province as separatism dominates the agenda in neighbouring Alberta.

In this interview with Christy Clark, Moe speaks openly about:

    • How Saskatchewan became a global trade powerhouse
    • Leading in a big tent party
    • Challenge of saving public health care
    • Canada Health Act is outdated and has to change
    • Battling it out with Justin Trudeau
    • Mark Carney isn’t going fast enough!
    • Tackling western frustration
    • Taking our national energy sovereignty for granted
    • What the heck is a bunny hug? A Saskatchewan necessity

  • Frank McKenna: Premier, business titan, proud New Brunswicker … and future Prime Minister?
    May 27 2026

Frank McKenna was a rural New Brunswick lawyer who rose to become one of Canada’s most successful politicians in the 1980s and 90s.

As NB Premier, he turned around that province’s economy through modernization and created thousands of jobs. He has been touted as a possible Liberal leader and future prime minister for decades, but instead emerged as one of Canada’s top business leaders.

McKenna is very passionate and direct about how Canada should invest in energy and infrastructure, and has a lot of advice for current Prime Minister Mark Carney in dealing with the “betrayal” of the US administration and separatist threats.

In this interview with Christy Clark, McKenna speaks openly about:

    • Growing up poor in rural NB
    • Winning every seat in 1987 to become Premier
    • Becoming the “Job Hustler” turning around NB economy
    • Mark Carney needing to show results now
    • Why Carney should rely more on his ministers
    • Europe struggling and UK circling the drain
    • US “betrayal” of Canada as a friend and trading partner
    • How Alberta separatism referendum could be as corrosive as Brexit
    • How referendums are like cockroaches (there’s never just one)
    • How Ottawa needs to play more hardball to get things built
    • Giving back with scholarships to St. Francis Xavier University (St. FX)
