  • Knicks Championship Special, (53 years in the making!)
    Jun 21 2026

For the first time in over 50 years, the New York Knicks are NBA Champions, and this isn't just a basketball story, it's a story about hope, perseverance, and what it means to finally see a lifelong dream come true.

In this special edition of That's So Random, I reflect on the legacy of the Knicks, the generations of fans who endured decades of heartbreak, and why this championship means so much more than basketball to so many New Yorkers.

We also dive into an often-overlooked topic: men's mental health. Growing up in New York, many of us were taught to be tough, to hide our emotions, and to never let anyone see us cry. But after decades of waiting, suffering, and believing, Knicks fans everywhere found themselves overwhelmed with emotion. For many of us, it was one of those rare moments where it finally felt okay to let it all out.

The episode also features a deeply personal full-circle moment from my own life. In 2006, I had the honor of working for NBA legend Earl Monroe, better known as "The Pearl." One day, he allowed me to hold his 1973 Knicks championship ring, the very ring that symbolized the franchise's last championship. At the time, I could never have imagined that twenty years later I'd be sitting here celebrating another Knicks title.

From the streets of the Bronx to the bright lights of Madison Square Garden, this episode is a love letter to New York, the Knicks, and every fan who never stopped believing.

    Topics Include:

    • The Knicks' championship journey
    • Why this title means so much to New Yorkers
    • Men's mental health and emotional vulnerability
    • The power of sports to unite generations
    • My personal connection to Earl "The Pearl" Monroe
    • A full-circle moment 20 years in the making

🎙️ That's So Random with Doc Anthony Bravo — because sometimes sports aren't just sports. Sometimes they're a reminder that no matter how long the wait, faith and perseverance can still be rewarded. 🏆🧡💙

  • Why Wasn't I In The Room? (Part 3)
    Jun 17 2026

The conversation continues in Part 3 of Why Wasn’t I in the Room? as special guest Brandon Boruch and I wrap up our Q&A session but not before taking a few unexpected detours.

What starts as a continuation of our discussion quickly evolves into a deep dive into filmmaking, acting, storytelling, and the creative process. From performance techniques and character development to directing actors and bringing authentic emotions to the screen, we explore what it really takes to create memorable work.

As always on That’s So Random, the conversation doesn't stay on one track for long. We bounce between practical industry advice, personal experiences, creative philosophies, and the occasional random tangent that somehow circles back to the art of storytelling.

    Topics Include:

    • Acting techniques and performance preparation
    • Character development and authenticity
    • Directing actors and collaboration on set
    • Independent filmmaking challenges
    • Storytelling through emotion
    • Creative growth and artistic confidence
    • The unexpected tangents that make great conversations

Whether you're an actor, filmmaker, writer, or simply someone who loves hearing passionate creatives talk shop, this episode offers an inside look at the craft behind the camera and in front of it.

That’s So Random with Doc Anthony Bravo: where one question leads to another, one tangent sparks a new idea, and every conversation becomes part of the story.
