TALES OF A SEA SAMI - English Version
Tales of a Sea Sámi - 1 Lapsuus Muistoja - Early Childhood Memories of life in Petsamo, Lapland (Sapmi)
The Sámi people are great storytellers. The Sámi have an oral tradition of passing their history on to future generations through stories of their life. My father passed his oral history on to me by recording the tales of his life onto cassette tapes. He asked that I pass these stories on to others when the technology became possible to do so. I am now passing on this collection through his voice and some video. The stories were originally spoken in his voice in the Finnish language. I have translated them to English and used AI to change it to his voice.
I TRANSLATION BY: ELEVENLABS: https://elevenlabs.io/?from=partnerhill6664
I will be publishing the Finnish Language version as well.
