  • Spurs’ Survival Sunday | Farewell to Pep | Arsenal At Last
    May 24 2026

Dharmesh Sheth is joined by Martin Samuel, Miguel Delaney and John Cross to reflect on the weekend’s sporting action.

We kick things off with a relegation battle that’s gone right down to the final day of the Premier League season. Spurs host Everton while West Ham take on Leeds, and one of those clubs will be playing Championship football next year. Is Miguel right to say Spurs should never have found themselves in this position?

Next, we bid farewell to Pep Guardiola after a glorious decade that delivered 17 major trophies. Martin calls Pep football’s ultimate cheat code, while Miguel tackles pending charges still looming over Manchester City.

And finally, to Arsenal, crowned champions for the first time in 22 years. John applauds their consistency, set-piece prowess and resilience, while Miguel praises the job Mikel Arteta has done since arriving at the club. But is he right to argue that Arteta’s 2023–24 side was actually stronger than this title-winning team?

  • Alonso to Chelsea | City Double | Hearts: Scotland’s Third Force?
    May 17 2026

Dharmesh Sheth is joined by Jacqui Oatley, Jason Burt and Mark Ogden to reflect on the weekend’s sporting action.

We kick things off with Man City’s FA Cup win, edging Chelsea 1-0, as Chelsea appoint Xabi Alonso as their new manager; is Jason right to suggest they’ve lucked out with Alonso? We also consider Antoine Semenyo’s stunning strike as the difference in a final that lacked drama, and discuss how City’s experience once again helped them get over the line.

Next stop, a dramatic climax to the Scottish Premiership title race, with Celtic pipping Hearts right at the death amid chaotic scenes. We discuss the fallout at full time, a less-than-satisfactory version of VAR, and the controversial midweek decision — before asking whether the arrival of Tony Bloom could turn Hearts into a genuine third force in Scottish football.

Next, to news that Michael Carrick is set to get the Manchester United job on a permanent basis. Danyal Khan joins us from Old Trafford to reflect on Casemiro’s farewell and Carrick’s final home game of the season — but just how excited should United fans be by news of his potential two-year contract extension?

Finally, another damaging defeat for Liverpool on Friday night, conceding four against Aston Villa and limping over the line for Champions League qualification. To add insult to injury, Salah appears to take a swipe at Arne Slot with a social media post calling for a return to “heavy metal football”, with several players also liking the post.

  • City Title Chase as Pep rallies Hammers | Anfield Turns on Slot
    May 10 2026

Dharmesh Sheth is joined by Sam Dean, Charlotte Duncker and Riath Al-Samarrai to reflect on the weekend’s sporting action.

We kick things off with City’s 3-0 win over Brentford at the Etihad, closing Arsenal’s lead to just two points with only three games left in the title race. With so little separating the sides, could goal difference end up being decisive — and is Pep enjoying the chase, after his “Come on you Hammers” post-match antics?

Next, we head to Anfield where Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw by Chelsea. From half-time grumbles to boos after Rio Ngumoha was substituted — and a hostile atmosphere at full time — pressure is already beginning to build on Arne Slot. Will he be given the time this summer to turn things around, or are the signs already there that Liverpool have regressed as the side becomes less Klopp and more Slot?

We’re then joined by Megan Feringa to break down Manchester City’s WSL title triumph and ask - where will Bunny Shaw be playing next season? And we’re also joined by Luke Shanley to run through the home straight of a gripping Scottish Premiership title race, with Celtic, Hearts and Rangers all still in the hunt.

Finally, to Arsenal — and while Sam is impressed by Arteta’s dancing, has the positive atmosphere around the Emirates helped fuel their upturn in form?
