Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason.

Today we’re in Romans 12:2, and this episode is all about renewing your mind and experiencing God’s will for your life. The Bible says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” God wants us to experience His good and perfect will, but transformation begins when we stop copying the patterns of the world and start thinking according to His Word.

Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason talk about how the world has its own way of approaching relationships, success, marriage, forgiveness, and everyday life. The world often teaches us to take, compete, hold grudges, and put ourselves first. God’s way teaches us to give, love, forgive, encourage, and build others up. When we follow the Creator’s instructions, we experience life at a higher level.

This message is also a reminder that God’s Word is not about condemnation. Jesus loves us in the middle of our mistakes and helps us grow out of destructive patterns. Renewing your mind is a process. As we hear the Word, attend church, and apply God’s principles, old ways of thinking begin to change and our lives begin to reflect His plan.

Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason also point out that we can recognize whether a philosophy works by looking at its fruit. The patterns of the world often lead to brokenness, pain, and loneliness. But when people become planted in God’s house and begin renewing their minds, their marriages, work ethic, relationships, and attitudes can be completely transformed.

If you want to know God’s will for your life, begin by renewing your mind. Reject thoughts that do not agree with His Word. Stay planted in church, keep filling yourself with truth, and allow God to transform you from the inside out.
