About this listen

We're not here for "happily ever after." We're here for what comes next. Something About Soulmates is a podcast about love as a practice, hosted by best friends Anna Socolofsky and Grace Heerman. Together, they interview couples to explore the tender, funny, and complex art of loving on purpose. And every episode ends with the same question: do you believe in soulmates? • Cameron and Pom: In Defense of Loving Your Dog This Much
    Feb 14 2026

We released this episode on Valentine's Day on purpose because it captures love at its most honest. Cameron spent her life chasing a dream job in marine mammal care, only to realize that achieving it was taking a serious toll on her health. As she worked to untangle her identity from her work, a new dog tippy-tapped into her life and became an unlikely anchor, offering presence, steadiness, and a kind of support she had never expected or experienced.

Cameron reflects on being understood without words, what animals can teach us about care and communication, and why some of the most sustaining relationships in our lives might cross species. If you've ever loved an animal like family, this one's for you.

  • Trailer: Season Two
    Feb 9 2026

Meet the couples you'll be hearing from on season two of Something About Soulmates:

    • Two best friends and next-door neighbors who didn't know they were yearning for each other for years
    • An animal behavior expert whose job was slowly crushing her, and whose Pomeranian brings more to the table than any boyfriend ever has
    • Two women who found each other later in life, and never once questioned that this partnership was their path to healing
    • A couple who tried non-monogamy, chose monogamy (for now), and believe their past is exactly what makes their relationship work

Y'all, there is GOOD STUFF coming. The first episode of season two drops February 14th! See you there.

  • Season Two Sneak Peek
    Feb 7 2026

Is it just us or does the world really need some love stories right now? Don't worry, we're on it. Welcome to season two! Our first full episode is dropping Feb. 14, but in the meantime, we're sharing clips from our upcoming interviews and introducing you to the all-star lovers of season two.

These lovers are trainers of Navy seals (ahem, we mean sea lions), business partners, mothers, best friends, and motorcyclists. One of them has four legs. And all of them have taught us something new about what it means to be and be loved by a soulmate.

We missed you! We are so glad to be back!
