  • 98. The True Cost of Beauty: My Year Without Botox

There’s a difference between choosing something because it genuinely brings you joy… and choosing something because you’re afraid of what happens if you stop.

And I think many of us — especially as women — have been conditioned not to question that line too closely.

We are meant to shut up and look pretty.

Today’s episode is a very honest conversation about beauty, insecurity, self-worth, aging, the nervous system, and the complicated relationship many of us have with the reflection staring back at us in the mirror.

As of this week… I have officially gone one full year without Botox.

And while this episode does talk about cosmetic procedures, and my personal experience working in the beauty industry for so many years… this conversation is about SO much more than injections.

    It’s about:

    • The true cost of beauty: financially, emotionally, mentally, societally
    • The narratives and stories running on auto-pilot, or that we create, about our self-worth in relation to our appearance
    • Sitting in the discomfort of comparison
    • Questioning our beauty rituals
    • What it means to be receptive of our own beauty and how it relates to nervous system safety

I share very openly in this episode about my own journey with injections, the insecurity I have been experiencing, the ways my fertility and health journey shifted my perspective, and the deeper healing around learning to actually receive my own beauty without shrinking from it.

This episode is about conscious confidence... about reclaiming sovereignty over our choices... about becoming intentional with the rituals, habits, and narratives we participate in... and offers practical tips for learning how to love ourselves more fully— with or without the things we once thought we needed.

So whether you’ve never touched a cosmetic procedure in your life, or you’ve been getting Botox for years…

Whether you feel deeply confident right now, or are quietly struggling with your reflection in the mirror…

I hope this conversation makes you feel more informed and more in your own power.

  • 97. Making Your Life a Musical: Remember to Live
    May 20 2026

Today's episode is one of those simple, yet profound reminders that we need to return to again and again and again.

Everyone that I am speaking to lately is experiencing some sense of heaviness… and it is in that heaviness that we need to remember that we have the power to bring more light.

I was confronted with my own questions of self-worth recently, and in this episode we navigate the delicate balance between showing up for others and nurturing ourselves.

Together, we can walk each other home and re-discover how to reclaim our lives with ABBA (or your musical artist of choice), magic, love, and gratitude.

Content Warning: This episode discusses difficult subjects, such as suicidal ideation, depression, mental health, trauma, and abuse. If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available.

Today's episode is probably my most personal so far.

And yet it is certainly not intended to be just a beautifully polished narrative about ME.

It is recorded with the intention of inviting you into a safe space where you might not feel so alone with anything you might be struggling with: health scares, fertility fears, relationship challenges, depression… LIFE.

Admittedly… I have felt lost and alone myself for the better part of the last couple of years. And something that I have learned firsthand is: Healing doesn’t happen in silence.

Yes, we might need to go into the silence of our own Being to understand the wound that needs healing, but it is through vulnerability, openness, sharing, and radical honesty that we can find the light again.

Some of the topics explored in this episode are:

    • How to differentiate between hiding and incubating when it comes to your healing process
    • The importance of trusting your intuition and your body's wisdom over systemic medical advice
    • How to choose and say yes to yourself, even if that might look like everything falling apart

I hope that this episode will remind you that your journey of emergence begins in the dark, where transformation quietly and courageously takes root.
