About this listen
Chalsea is one of my oldest friends. Living with her in university was such a blessing from the Lord as He gifted me with a strong Christian woman to use as an example of how I could live my life with the joy of the Lord. So it simply seemed unfair, when she called me to say that she had been diagnosed with cancer at the age of 26 - Stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
On today's episode of Spiritually Saved, Chalsea shares her powerful testimony of overcoming Hodgkin's lymphoma, emphasizing the importance of faith and surrender during life's toughest challenges. She recounts her journey from disbelief to acceptance, highlighting the profound impact of her faith on her healing process. Throughout her treatment, Chalsea learned to lean on God and the support of her community, reinforcing the idea that true strength comes from vulnerability and connection with others. Chalsea and I discuss the significance of daily surrender to God, illustrating how this practice fosters a deeper relationship and a sense of peace amidst uncertainty. I pray our conversation serves as a reminder that even in the darkest moments, trusting in God's plan can lead to transformative growth and renewed hope.
