  • Ruth Speed hadn't done much other than childhood cycling and a couple of days on a bike in Milan until a year ago, but next month she is taking part in the gruelling L'Étape du Tour scaling three mountains and 100 miles!

    I talk to her about what prompted her great challenge and about how she thinks the roads around Chichester could be improved to encourage people and women in particular to get on a bike more often.
