  • Sue Lord
    Jun 26 2026

When Kate saw Centurion Running’s reel following and celebrating the last finisher of the SDW100 around the track, she knew she wanted to invite her on the Podcast. This wasn’t Sue’s first 100 and we talk about why she was last, how she battled an injury at 40 miles and an ongoing niggle which stopped her running at 66 miles. Where many would throw in the towel, she kept going, chasing cut offs and in spite of everything she finished.

We also touch on what happened at Biotropika and a possible new Backyard record plus Western States starts tomorrow and we are cheering on the Brits, including Fi Pascall.

  • Stephanie Case
    Jun 19 2026

Robin and Kate had a great chat with Stephanie Case. This extraordinary woman is so positive, she infects all around her with her obvious love and passion for running ridiculous distances over enormous terrain. However, at the end of the year she has her sights set on something quite different - the Antarctic Ultra where she will not only be the first woman competitor, but she hopes to set a new 24 hour record and go over the 100 miles currently reached at approx 22 hours. We chatted about dnfs, doping, nutrition, mind set and so much more.

We’d also like to wish Stephanie the happiest of birthdays this weekend 🎈

  • Sage Canaday
    Jun 12 2026

This week, Sage joins us for a good chinwag about all things running. He recently confirmed he won a place in the Cocodona 250 lottery for 2027 and told us that he plans to have an attempt at the Masters 100 mile record at Tunnel Hill in November. We did also touch on doping, but quickly moved on to more important things such as Sage’s first Youtube video; a satirical review on Nipple Tips! One of the reasons we love Sage is his light hearted side alongside his more serious training content and it was great having him on.

  • Luke Jackson and Harry Firth
    May 29 2026

We chat to Luke and Harry; two Lake District lads who do some epic runs. Harry recently broke the record for the Steve Parr Round so we talk about that; about training and running around the Lakes. Harry will be representing RunUltra at the Lake District Running Festival this weekend and is taking over the RunUltra social accounts as well as Kate, who is in Switzerland reporting on Swiss Canyon Trails. These two are very inspiring to listen to, so I hope you enjoy and are inspired to get out yourself.

  • Ben Rothery
    May 1 2026

Ben recently won the Trail Running Association British Middle Distance Championships at the Run Through Lakes 51k race, which earned him a place at the European Off Road Championships in Slovenia. We discuss training, the selection process and the confusing number of different terms and governing bodies there are for running off road both here and abroad. We wish him the best of luck!
