As a recovering addict progresses through the steps, wonderful insights and realizations about themselves come to the surface. The BB acknowledges that usually our closest friends and supporters in recovery see improvements in our behavior before we do. It's difficult for us to comprehend that our lives could indeed be different: that could actually be changing and becoming better people! Around Step 9, these promises begin to be realized by the addict themself. It is a wonderful discovery; and its the topic we cover today! Enjoy!
