We covered the OG Luigi's Mansion back on RTG #177, and I really enjoyed the third game from a few years ago, so this week my buddy keeps and I are finally completing the trilogy by looking at the Stephanie Tanner of the franchise - Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. Admittedly, I think this is my least favourite game of the trio, but that doesn't make it bad by any stretch. I think the design lends itself pretty well to a handheld game, but it does so at the expense of the exploration of the first and the creativity of the third.

Still better than Mario Is Missing, anyway.

I've been a big Wario fan since he debuted Super Mario Land 2, but I've played very few of his games. I just pick him in sports and Smash titles. I've been wanting to revisit Halo for 333 episodes now, and it's finally time. What do I have to say in here? It's Halo, one of the most iconic games of all-time.

I bumped this episode by a week to replay the campaign (which is the focus of this episode), and while Halo 1 is no Halo 2, it's still Halo, and it's still legendary. Hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did.

After 375 episodes, I'm running out of games I grew up playing to talk about. But Adventure Island III was a huge part of my childhood. So this week I'm reminiscing about the entire NES trilogy.

If you haven't played these one, you play as a chubby caveman in a ball cap (I can relate) trying to save a girl. You platform, throw axes, skateboard, ride dinosaurs, and eat too much. Honestly? These games are among the biggest hidden gems in the NES library, and I hope this episode convinces a couple people to give them a run.

Like so many of you, I grew up playing Pokemon. I was 12 when I started playing Pokemon Blue, and while I've been in and out of the series since, Gen I has long been a favourite of mine. So when Nintendo dropped the remakes of those games on the Switch, I knew it was time to show them a little RTG love.

FireRed and LeafGreen are absolutely the definitive way to play Pokemon Gen I. Better graphics, more Pokemon, quality of life improvements, deeper mechanics, they're phenomenal games. Are they good enough to break my nostalgic ties to the OGs? Have a listen and find out.
