Nilan Perrera has worn many hats at CIUT, from a time just before we went FM for about 16 years. During that time he was on the Music Committee, the Board of Ds, he was Program Dirextor a few times and at the centre of thing. Besides hosting his jazz program, In Through The Outside, he is a guitar player and he continues to perform to this date. Nilan's first time back in a long time gone.

How does an undergraduate student at the U of T cope with having a day job, going to school and doing a weekly radio show? Jasmine Chow has all the answers because she's been doing that! She's young, articulate, has a great personality and has been doing a great job as host of 'The Wave Form' heard Tuesday afternoons at 4 pm. She's our special guest this week on Radio Recall, on our 97th program.

This week we welcome Jesse McDougall, producer of Tracks From Abroad, a student oriented program which focused on foreign students who attended U of Toronto and what they brought to Canada with them.

Jesse was a CIUT volunteer already, having worked a pre-pandemic funding drive. He then put together a proposal for Tracks from Abroad that we couldn't say no to. Although the show ran its course, Jesse tells us how it came about, what it achieved and little known secrets about the music foreign students brought with them to Canada.
