• Why the Next Generation Isn’t Buzzed | Ericka Andersen
    Jan 31 2026
“Dry January” is upon us—the annual reset when people swear off alcohol for a month, whether for health, discipline, curiosity, or recovery. While some are opting to detox from alcohol during the month of January, something bigger is happening beneath the surface: an entire generation is quietly walking away from alcohol altogether. A 2025 Gallup poll found that only 50% of young adults ages 18-34, reported they drink—down from 72% two decades prior. And yet, alcohol still sits at the center of modern social life—networking events, happy hours, girls’ nights out, and dating culture. If you don’t drink, you’re expected to explain yourself. In a culture that normalizes constant consumption, slipping into sipping habitually can be like a frog in slowly boiling water; you don’t notice the danger until alcohol starts stealing your clarity, your relationships, your peace, and eventually your purpose. This week’s Problematic Women, Ericka Andersen, knows this song and dance all too well. She joins this week’s episode to make the case for sobriety in a culture so hellbent against it. Andersen, the author of “Freely Sober: Rethinking Alcohol Through the Lens of Faith,” shares the story of her personal relationship with alcohol and how she leaned not only on facts, but also on her faith, to find her way out. We also break down the latest trends and statistics on alcohol consumption and what that says about the state of our culture. • She’s the Last Line of Defense Before Abortion: Where Desperate Mothers Turn
    Jan 24 2026
The reasons why women seek abortion have not changed, but society and culture have, according to Emily Berning, president and co-founder of Let Them Live. Pro-abortion groups like Planned Parenthood use flashy, professional, and sometimes seductive social graphics and short-form videos to target young women across social media with a pro-abortion messages. If the pro-life movement is going to capture the attention of the next generation, then they must employ a similar strategy, according to Berning. Today, 76% of Gen Z believes abortion should be legal in almost all cases, according to Pew Research, proving the goal to instill a culture of life in America has yet to be reached. While the demand for abortion remains, Berning and her team at Let Them Live are filling a practical need for moms considering abortion. The nonprofit, first founded in 2019, provides practical financial support to women considering an abortion. Let Them Live will, for example, pay an expectant mother’s rent for a year or will take on the woman’s car payment or utility bill while she works to find a job that allows her to be a mother and provider for her child. Just last year, the group celebrated 1,000 babies saved from abortion. Berning joins “Problematic Women” to share about the work of Let Them Live and discuss how the next generation views the fight for the unborn. Connect with our hosts on socials! • Biggest Issue Facing Fight For Life | Marjorie Dannenfelser
    Jan 17 2026
A pro-life policy organization is calling on President Donald Trump to do more to protect the unborn. While Marjorie Dannenfelser, the president of the large policy organization Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, says no president has done more for the pro-life movement than Trump, she argues the president has not championed the issue as he did during his first term. Trump, however, might not be the only conservative who appears less inclined to discuss or take action on the pro-life cause following the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Have conservative moved on from the issue? Dannenfelser joins the “Problematic Women” podcast to discuss. Also on the show, Dannenfelser explains why the abortion pill is the biggest issue facing the fight for life in 2026. Plus, the Department of Health and Human Services received criticism after releasing millions in funding to Planned Parenthood. But did they have a choice? All this and more on this week’s edition of “Problematic Women.” Enjoy the show! • A Tale of Two Minneapolises: Protests After George Floyd vs. ICE Involved Shooting | Ashley Brasfield
    Jan 10 2026
It took less than 48 hours for protesters to begin burning the city of Minneapolis after the death of George Floyd in May 2020. Law enforcement struggled to control protests as demonstrators set a local police station on fire, looted businesses, and left parts of the city covered in graffiti. Five and a half years later, Americans wonder if history will repeat itself after an ICE agent shot and killed Renee Nicole Good on Wednesday. Good, a 37-year-old woman, was an “immigration activist,” according to Fox News, and allegedly was at the scene of ICE operations in Minneapolis on Wednesday in an effort to disrupt ICE activity. When Good was ordered out of her vehicle, a video appears to show Good driving her vehicle toward an ICE agent, who discharged his weapon into Good’s car, killing her. Protests broke out almost immediately in Minneapolis following the news of Good’s death, but, at least so far, demonstrations have been far from reaching the level of violence and destruction seen in the aftermath of Floyd’s death. The same Democrat mayor, Jacob Frey, is in power in Minneapolis, and law enforcement were involved in Floyd’s death as they were in Good’s. So what is different now? On this week’s edition of “Problematic Women,” Daily Caller reporter Ashley Brasfield joins the show as we discuss the events that led to the ICE-involved shooting in Minneapolis and why protests have not escalated to the level of violence seen in 2020. • Blocking Canada’s Silent Suicide From Creeping Into America
    Dec 20 2025
Canada has embraced a culture of death. America’s neighbor to the north legalized euthanasia in 2016, and since then more than 75,000 Canadians have participated in Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying program. Canada also has no restrictions on abortion and only considers a baby a human after it passes through the birth canal. Canada has become a “totalitarian wild west,” according to Liana Graham, who grew up in Canada and now works as a research assistant in domestic policy at The Heritage Foundation. Areas that Canada should regulate, such as abortion and physician-assisted suicide, it does not; instead, it has created stringent regulations around freedom of speech and religion. On this week’s episode of "Problematic Women," Liana joins the show to discuss the ways America can keep itself from becoming Canada 2.0 and protect the value of life that was intrinsic to America’s founding. Also on today’s show, we wrap up the year by discussing President Donald Trump’s Wednesday night address to the nation. • Is Jasmine Crockett a Force for GOP to Fear? | Ashley Brasfield
    Dec 13 2025
House Speaker Mike Johnson said he was “delighted” when he learned Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, is running for Senate. “I think it’s one of the greatest things that’s happened to the Republican Party in a long, long time,” Johnson said. “I want her to have the largest, loudest microphone that she can every single day, and we look forward to having that election down there,” the House speaker added. Crockett, who is viewed as a member of the Democrat’s far-left cohort, officially announced her bid for Senate on Monday. The Texas lawmaker has made a number of claims in the past which Republicans no doubt plan to use against her. During an interview with Vanity Fair last year, Crockett indicated she thinks Latino voters have a “slave mentality” when it comes to their view of immigration policy. She also recommended tax exemptions for black people, has called Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents “slave patrol,” and has referred to Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott, who is in a wheelchair, “governor hot wheels.” Republicans appear poised to paint Crockett, and her rhetoric, as the face of the Democrat Party, and while it is unlikely Crockett can pull out a Senate win in deep red Texas, the margin of her support, or lack their of, may prove to be a critical indication of the nation’s political views. On this week’s edition of “Problematic Women,” we discuss what Democrats will be watching for during Crockett’s run for Senate. Also on today’s show, we breakdown what you need to know about Charlie Kirk’s latest, and last, book, “Stop, in the Name of God: Why Honoring the Sabbath Will Transform Your Life.” And some celebrities and podcasters continue to attack Erika Kirk – we discuss why. Plus, Time has named its person, or persons, of the year. Is the magazine’s choice accurate? • Who Gets to Be an American? Trump Has an Answer | Angelina Delfin
    Dec 6 2025
President Donald Trump has made new moves in recent days to crack down on immigration into the U.S. After Trump vowed to pause immigration from “developing nations countries,” the U.S. has frozen all immigration applications for foreigners from 19 counties, and is reviewing applications that were approved during the four years of the Biden administration. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed on Fox News Thursday that the list will be expanded to “over 30” nations, but did not specify. For now, the list includes: Afghanistan, Myanmar, Burundi, Chad, Cuba, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Laos, Libya, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Togo, Turkmenistan, Venezuela, and Yemen. The president has specifically criticized the Somalia immigrant population in the U.S. after news broke that a fraud scheme among Minnesota’s Somali population costs taxpayers over $1 billion. Additionally, Trump has paused all visas for Afghan nationals after a man from Afghanistan who has been living in the U.S. since the fall of Kabul in 2021 shot two National Guard Members near the White House the day before Thanksgiving, killing U.S. Army Spc. Sarah Beckstrom. On this week's edition of “Problematic Women,” we discuss President Donald Trump’s heightened immigration crackdown, and why assimilation has to be a key part of immigration policy. Plus, what is going on with the narco-terrorist boat strikes in the Caribbean and Pacific? We break it down. And Sabrina Carpenter is mad at the White House for using her music in an immigration enforcement video. All this and more on this week’s show!
