The decline of our country is evident every day, but the blame doesn't lie with the people, it's with those in power who made false promises and failed to support everyday American voters. Our political class is not working to uphold our American values. Figures like Nancy Pelosi, Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, and Ted Cruz have played roles in this decline. What grade would we give their actions,both good and bad? And do their personal lives impact their political performance? The answer is yes. Since 1917, the American empire has failed us.
