  • Being a PPP housemate
    Jan 25 2022

At Platinum Property Partners we're more than property experts. We love what we do and one of the most rewarding elements is the care our Franchise Partners provide for their tenants.

The tenants who live in our Franchise Partners’ properties are just as important as our landlords. That’s why we give our Partners full training in tenant management, communication and health and wellbeing support for their tenants.

Our Head of Partnerships & Commercial, Natalie Windsor, is also a Franchise Partner. In this podcast, she sat down with one of her own tenants to talk about what it's like being a PPP housemate and how the service our landlords provide help them to grow and flourish.

  • Franchising Focus
    May 28 2021

In our last episode of Series 1, we're joined by The British Franchise Association, to talk in detail about franchising and what it means.

The BFA was originally founded in 1977 by a group of franchisors, in order to differentiate themselves and provide a space for good and ethical franchisors to help their franchisees.

They currently represent a third of UK franchisors, as well as 700+ franchisees and 100 suppliers and affiliates.

Platinum Director Emma speaks with CEO of the BFA, Pip Wilkins, to discuss the benefits of franchising, what it means to be part of the BFA and how Platinum works closely with them to provide excellent service. Pip has been CEO for more than five years now and involved in the franchise space for 20+ years, so we really have got the best person to speak about this.

Listen to the podcast for answers to questions such as:

    ·         Who are the BFA?

    ·         What is franchising?

    ·         What are the benefits of franchising?

  • Jimmy's Iced Coffee
    Apr 12 2021

For episode 6, we’ve got something a little bit different…

Platinum’s favourite Marketing Consultant, Neil Meldrum, sat down with our friend, Jim Cregan, local entrepreneur and founder of Jimmy’s Iced Coffee.

“What has this got to do with property?” we hear you say. Well, not a whole lot to be honest, but we love people as much as we love property and Jim’s story is definitely one worth hearing.

Jimmy’s Iced Coffee is a household name in our hometown of Bournemouth, but it is also known nationally with nearly 7000 stores stocking their products across the UK and Ireland. If you love iced coffee, you’ve probably had one of their delicious cans.

In the podcast, Jim speaks about his past careers, how Australia played a part in the brand and some of the struggles and successes they’ve had over the past 10 years.
