Dr Walton is an Old Testament scholar and professor at Wheaton college who specializes in the Ancient Near Eastern context of the Old Testament, especially in Genesis. He is also the author of several popular books including: “The Lost World of Genesis One”, “The Lost World of The Torah”, his newest book, “The Lost World Of The Prophets” and my personal favorite, “Ancient Near Eastern Thought and the Old Testament”
