🎙️ Day 2 – Hearing God’s Voice Above the Noise
Scripture Foundation: “So God said to Noah…” — Genesis 6:13
Genesis 6 is not only a chapter of corruption but also a chapter of revelation. In the middle of violence, moral collapse, and rebellion, one powerful sentence stands out: “So God said to Noah.”
The world was filled with noise, yet above that noise, God’s voice broke through. Before Noah built the ark, he listened. Before he separated from his generation, he heard from God. His distinction began not with action, but with attention.
Hebrews 11:7 tells us that Noah acted by faith concerning things not yet seen. He did not obey because he saw evidence; he obeyed because he heard God. His identity and stability were anchored in divine revelation.
Like a ship navigating through dense fog that depends on a lighthouse, Noah depended on the voice of God. The environment was unstable, but God’s Word was constant.
In Scripture, hearing always produces obedience. “My sheep hear My voice… and they follow Me.” — John 10:27
Genesis 6:22 says, “So Noah did everything just as God commanded him.” True hearing reshapes life.
Faith responds before visible confirmation. “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” — Hebrews 11:1
Today, we are reminded that identity becomes secure when it is shaped by what God has spoken, not by the noise of culture. God still speaks through His Word and through Christ.
“In these last days He has spoken to us by His Son.” — Hebrews 1:1–2
The call remains the same: hear and respond.
🙏 Reflection
• What voices are shaping my life right now? • Do I create space daily to hear God through Scripture? • Am I living by faith or by sight?
May this message help you quiet the noise and hear God’s steady voice.
