Off the Shelf is an interview format of the Pages of Play Podcast where we bring a guest on the show to talk about the following scenario: “Imagine you have a library full of books that represent to you the greatest video game narratives. If I were to pull 5 books at random off of those shelves, what would I find? How did each book earn a spot on your shelf?”

This week, I am joined by Raygan, host of The Short Game. Below you will find a link to The Short Game website, where you can find all the avenues to connect and listen to their show:

  • |BTL| Relooted - Developer Interview
    Apr 12 2026

Between the Lines (BTL) is a sub-series of the Pages of Play podcast where we explore hidden gem indie games. In this episode, Erik and David interview Ben Myres, CEO and creative director at Nyamakop, the studio behind Relooted. This is a very "meaty" interview, as Ben puts it, so we hope you enjoy going layers deep into the making of this game with us.

Relooted is an Africanfuturist heist game that explores contemporary issues through purposeful game design and writing. The game released on Steam February 10th, 2026, which you can find here on Steam, or you can check out the developer's website for more details. The game is also currently on Gamepass at the time of writing.

The wonderful music in this episode comes from the Jusant soundtrack by Guillaume Ferran. Check it out here.
