The jungle stopped behaving like nature and started acting like circuitry. Copper-veined fungi wired themselves into obsidian altars. Rain levitated. Dinosaurs flickered in and out of existence. Then the Abelisaur performed the ritual. Its sonic bursts ignited the bio-metallic pillars in ghost-blue light. The frequency intensified. Half the team dissolved into grey mist. The rest began humming in perfect unison — no longer explorers… but antennas. The Spires weren’t ruins.
