Il 28 giugno 1914 l'arciduca Francesco Ferdinando, erede al trono asburgico, viene assassinato a Sarajevo insieme alla moglie Sofia. L'attentato, compiuto da un serbo-bosniaco, innesca una reazione a catena di eventi che avrebbe condotto allo scoppio della Prima Guerra Mondiale. In questa puntata racconteremo degli eventi accaduti in precedenza e che sommandosi hanno generato il clima adatto per lo scoppio del conflitto.
