El, a tattoo artist himself, sits down with artist Chui Kanela to get some fresh ink while discussing the culture and craft of tattooing, the relationship between heavy metal and tattoo culture, and the band's album Savage New Times, released on August 15, 2025, through Reigning Phoenix Music.

It's a raw, relaxed hang in one of New York's most respected tattoo shops. The kind of conversation that only happens when the needle is running. NYHC Tattoos was co-founded by Vinnie Stigma of Agnostic Front and Jimmy Gestapo of Murphy's Law.
