• Brain abnormalities at 20 week scan: Katie's TFMR story for corpus callosum agenesis, hydrocephalus and small cerebellum
    Jul 1 2026

Katie, a TFMR and multiple miscarriage mom and mom to two living kids shares her baby's story. Her daughter had a constellation of brain abnormalities - absent corpus callosum, fluid in the brain, and a small cerebellum - discovered at the 20 week scan.

Katie knew something was off before the doctor had even spoke. At this 20-week anatomy scan, Katie caught a measurement on the screen that said 16 weeks... and then the doctor delivered the devastating news that her daughter’s brain abnormalities would mean congenital blindness and severe mobility disabilities.

Because of abortion restrictions in Florida, Katie had to figure out how to leave the state to say goodbye to her daughter the way she chose.

Katie shares her story just 2.5 weeks out - raw, clear, and utterly without shame. She talks about navigating a gray diagnosis with no guarantees, flying to Virginia for her D&E while visibly pregnant, telling her living children the truth, and what it means to stand behind a decision that the world keeps trying to make complicated. For Katie the decision was clear, this is how she decided to end her wanted pregnancy.

Katie received help with funding for travel through The Brigid Alliance: https://brigidalliance.org/

  • Who joins Ascend TFMR Grief circles - parents like you | July start dates spots open
    Jun 29 2026

If you are questioning whether your story fits in our grief circles, whether your diagnosis was "severe enough," or whether you'll connect with other parents who made this impossible choice, listen in 💜

The truth is, if you're asking these questions, you *do* belong here.

The parents who join our Ascend TFMR grief circles share something profound - we're all parents who chose to end suffering, even when the world doesn't understand our "choice." You followed your heart and survival through the most impossible decision love has ever asked of you.

Beyond that sacred shared experience, the parents who thrive in our circles tend to be busy but appreciate structure, they are naturally resilient (even when they don't feel it), and deeply kind - both to others and, we hope, eventually to yourselves.

Whether you have living children or are trying to conceive again, whether your diagnosis was chromosomal or structural, for you or baby, whether you're weeks or years out from your loss - your story matters here. You matter here. I want to hear from you, I want to hear your story. Connect with me here: www.thetfmrdoula.com/schedule-call or click down below to see more of the upcoming group info.

  • ACTUALLY dealing with shaming comments after TFMR pregnancy loss
    Jun 24 2026

Shaming comments after TFMR - how to deal & who's shame IS it anyways?? If you've ever seen a cruel comment about TFMR and felt it land somewhere deep... this episode is for you.

Sabrina goes there - straight into the shame that gets hurled at TFMR parents by strangers, by religion, by society - and how she refuses to let it stick AND how she helps other termination after devastating diagnosis parents & her clients do the same. She walks you through her three levels of dealing with the shaming comments: from the outer noise of a world that doesn't understand abortion baby loss, to the sneaky, hard-to-name inner feeling of shame itself, to the most sacred level - your direct relationship with your baby.

Your baby is not a shame. Your TFMR is not a shame. By the end of this episode, you too will feel why that shame was never yours to carry in the first place.

  • How Do I Survive This? | How other parents cope with TFMR pregnancy loss
    Jun 15 2026

If you are asking yourself "how do I survive this?" - this episode is for you.

Sabrina speaks directly to this question she hears often... from parents facing a devastating prenatal diagnosis, from parents mid-decision, and from parents on the other side of TFMR baby loss looking to make it through. She gives you permission to throw out the "moving on" narrative entirely, and shares her S.E.E.N. framework - the four things she's guided other TFMR parents through to help them carry their grief and keep going.

You don't move on from your baby. You move with them. And there IS a way through.

  • Goodbye Google & Meta: How I'm protecting your TFMR / ending a wanted pregnancy story
    Jun 13 2026

Your TFMR story is sacred - the words you share in grief circles, the journals, the downloads you've trusted with your healing, your baby's story... they MUST be handled with care. If you've been looking for TFMR support that actually protects you, this episode is for you.

Sabrina (that's me, The TFMR Doula) takes you behind the scenes on her ongoing process of moving away from big tech - Google, Meta, and the companies whose AI is quietly reading, scraping, and training on everything we put into their clouds - to build something safer for all of us. Safer for you, safer for your baby.

This isn't just about encrypted video calls or coded forums (although yes, she built the forum herself from scratch, and yes, that's pretty f-ing cool). It's about what becomes possible when TFMR parents finally feel safe... how your healing actually happens, when humans connect heart to human heart, not filtered through a platform that doesn't care about us at all. This is TFMR grief support the way it was always meant to be - private, sovereign, and completely yours.

  • "I feel like a monster after my TFMR" - about this tough abortion baby loss thought
    Jun 8 2026

If you've asked yourself "am I a monster for choosing this?" this episode is for you.

Sabrina speaks directly to the thought that haunts so many TFMR parents... before, during, and long after the procedure is over. She speaks to *why* that "monster" thought creeps in once the medical crisis has passed, why both paths can feel monstrous, and why the fact that you're asking the question at all is proof that you're not one.

This is fierce parenting. This is a mama on fire. And you are not a monster.

  • "Reproductive Anxiety Disorder" - a call to a new classification with Alexia Leachman, expert on clearing tokophobia
    Jun 4 2026

Today we are talking with Alexia Leachman and her call to classify tokophobia and MANY other reproductive experiences (like the trauma and anxiety that comes from baby loss) under what she calls “Reproductive Anxiety Disorder.” If your anxiety after TFMR has been brushed off as "yeah a lot of folks feel that" but you KNOW there is more to your story, listen in.

Alexia Leachman is the author of Fearless Birthing, founder of Head Trash. The Head Trash book and website and method helped her clear her tokophobia - which is the visceral, unexplainable reaction or fear of pregnancy and birth.
