Welcome back to another special episode of Nothing’s Normal where we get the raw, transparent and open versions of our guest to better understand their path in the present. Today we sat down with Yonkers rapper Fleezo from 288. 288 is a building located on the legendary strip, Riverdale. Fleezo took us back to his early days as a kid being the youngest kid on the block life and as an only child. Fleezo spoke about what Yonkers was like for him in the early days and how hard it could be simply being from where he is from. Fleezo like a lot of his peers got into music early but does not consider himself a drill rapper. He also spoke about his time that he spent on other blocks despite the tension of those who came before him in his community. He is back active on the music scene and has a PSA for all of his supporters. Tune in. Fleezo has something to say.

Welcome back to another special episode of Nothing’s Normal where we get the raw, transparent and open versions of our guest to better understand their path in the present. Today we sat down with Yonkers rapper & underground legend, Big Paper. Born in Harlem, Big Paper took us to his early childhood where he earned a few different names. Raised by a single mother with his sister, Big Paper found the streets early like some of us in urban communities. We spoke about his first memories of Yonkers NY moving there when he was just 12. He told us about the legendary “YGS” group he and several friends formed and how they impacted the city. He was best friends with the fallen Yonkers native, poppin music artist among many other things, Reeskee (RIP). Big Paper also took us on a tour of what Yonkers was like before his hood (O Block/Oliver) fell out with other surrounding hoods and how that played a part of the Yonkers 2011 indictment which is one of the largest indictments today. Now free, Big Paper has been maximizing his time with his family and kids as he just lost his mother in November 2025. He’s recently dropped his fire single “Freeski” and is back outside with the music and clothing merch, “Honest Cash”. Tune in. This was the first stop of what i can see being a legendary run.

Welcome back to another special episode of Nothing’s Normal where we get the raw, transparent and open versions of our guest to better understand their path in the present. Today we sat down with Greenburgh’s and mental health facilitator, Darren. Darren started off working at his facility 25 years ago with no intention that 25 years later he would be head of what has become one of the biggest priorities in the world today. During our conversation we dive deep into what “mental health” actually is seeing as it is so cliché and vague in today’s world. We peeled back the layers of what his actual assignment is at his facility as well as how he juggles between the trauma of others and his own personal past struggles. Darren, whose mother passed away when he was 12 years of age has a story from the outside full of pain and potential excuses. Tune in as we get the story from the source himself. Mental health should be all of our priority as society’s needle moves by the second. In a world full of chaos, creating environments of peace for yourself is an absolute necessity. I hope you enjoy. Until next time
