  • Walking Through Miscarriage & The Invitation to Hope Again | Nicole Zasowski
    Jun 8 2026

After multiple miscarriages, Nicole Zasowski found it hard to celebrate when she found out she was pregnant again. Yet God invited her to ask herself “What If It’s Wonderful?”

Nicole is a marriage and family therapist, an author and now a mom of four. Two of her books, “From Lost To Found” and “What If It’s Wonderful” dive deeper into her journey to motherhood and the courageous hope she found herself growing in along the way. Nicole is open about being someone who used to struggle with fear, but has now become a woman who dares to celebrate!

Carrie and Nicole also dive into celebration as a family practice and the importance of simple family traditions. We hope you leave this conversation encouraged to talk to your spouse about what small traditions you could add into your week, month or year to make your kids childhood feel special and safe. Celebration is a not just a spiritual discipline but also an invitation! God rejoices with us in our times of celebration!

If you or someone you love has walked through miscarriage…we are deeply sorry for your loss. We know this is a tender subject and truly apologize if anything discussed in today’s episode hurt more than it helped. We pray you leave feeling seen, and more importantly invited to lean fully into the love, comfort and promises of Jesus Christ.

  • Social Media Boundaries For Moms, Importance of Community, Turning Small Moments into Big Moments| Morgan Krueger & Carrie Alexander
    Apr 27 2026

“I wrote the book I desperately needed.”

“I wrote the book I desperately needed.”

In this powerful episode of New Mom, Carrie sits down with author and mom of two (soon to be three!), Morgan Krueger, to talk about her new book Made To Magnify—and how motherhood can become a daily act of magnifying Jesus. What if the “small” mundane moments are actually the biggest and most important moments for our kids? She encourages listeners to remember: if it’s a big deal to our kids, it’s a big deal to God too.

Morgan and Carrie also discuss healthy social media boundaries for moms and the joy that can be found in “missing out” online to instead choose being present with our families.
