Grab a beer and join us tonight as we cover Tara Lynn Lee, the Macomb County mother who ran a nationwide adoption fraud scheme under the name Always Hope Pregnancy and Education Center. For four years, Tara posed as a licensed social worker and matched hopeful couples with birth mothers who didn't exist, babies who were never real, and pregnancies she made up from thin air. She took in over two million dollars from more than 160 families across 24 states. We'll go through how she pulled it off and how one adoptive mother brought the whole thing down. • Tylenol Murders Part 2
    May 3 2026
Grab a beer and join us tonight as we wrap up our two-part series on the 1982 Chicago Tylenol Murders. Tonight we're getting into the suspects, starting with James Lewis, the man who sent Johnson and Johnson an extortion letter demanding a million dollars to stop the killings and became the prime suspect for the next four decades. We'll walk through his criminal history, the other names investigators looked at, the DNA testing that should have closed the case but only made things more complicated, and why after forty plus years and one of the largest investigations in American history, nobody has ever been charged with a single one of these murders. • Tylenol Murders Part 1
    Apr 26 2026
Grab a beer and join us tonight as we kick off our two-part series on the 1982 Chicago Tylenol Murders. We'll start with the morning of September 29th, when a twelve-year-old girl in Elk Grove Village took a Tylenol for a cold and died, and the hours that followed as authorities slowly pieced together that the deaths spreading across the Chicago suburbs weren't a coincidence. We'll walk through the victims, the investigation, and the realization that someone had been pulling bottles off store shelves, lacing capsules with potassium cyanide, and putting them back. Ian, Dave and Mike a ménage à trois to good to be true.
Ian who is our main narrator here digs deep into all the cases with a very detailed timeline and tells these almost like a story to Mike and Dave. What I really enjoy about this podcast is that we get to hear incredible cases whether it be "popular", niche, murder, paranormal, alien, missing persons etc they cover them all and sometimes no details are spared. Not for dramatic effect but for the importance to these true stories.
Some people do not like their true crime being interrupted with presenters personal stories, chatter etc which I don't really understand as these guys are all clever, funny and interesting and they help you get through these sometimes horrific but necessary stories to hear. It's by far my ultimate favourite podcast and I have nothing bad to say about it and trust me that's something highly unusual for me! It's nice to have something humane in something sometimes so inhumane.
Keep it up and keep the episodes flowing!

Wow can’t believe it’s taken me so long to find your show. I for one am a fan of lighting up some very horrible subjects with a bit of comedy. I’m a massive podcast fan but there are only so many hours in a day so I have a couple that I listen every single week this is definitely going on the list. I’m a big big fan of small town murder and I would put you guys in the same bracket ( hope that’s ok to say) great work guys. Maybe look at Essex boys murder it’s got everything drugs, death, bent coppers, gangs, dodgy convictions and much much more. 5stars from the U.K

The blend between comedy and some very hard subjects
