Through reading and doing the written exercises prescribed by Mark Wolynn's "It Didn't Start With You," I uncovered several inherited traumas that partly explained why I feel the way I do about my identity. Unable to willingly claim my Filipino heritage, I became a Ditto (the Pokémon) of sorts, personality wise and sometimes even physically. In this episode, find out what I thought the worst could happen to my life.

"What would that tattoo look like when you get old?" is a common argument against tattoos.

In this short chapter, I share how I came to my decision and how I really would not know what the tattoo would like when I get old.

Starting with this episode, I am sharing my statement of gratitude in the summary section/show notes.

I am grateful for this experience of not being able to randomly walk into a highly recommended tattoo shop and get a tattoo on the spot.
