In HeroQuest: Barrow of the Beastmen – The Forgotten Crypt, Episode 4, Nuggy, Morgan, and Gjord continue their desperate quest to escape the cursed catacombs beneath the Forest of Shadows. Joined by the loyal wolf Gary and the ever-dutiful Imperial guardsman Bob, the party presses onward through a realm seemingly abandoned by the living and claimed by the dead.

As if the endless tide of restless undead were not enough, the heroes soon find themselves lured by a mysterious will-o'-the-wisp. But this is no wandering spirit. Guided by the dark will of Morcar himself, the malevolent light seeks to lead the adventurers into ever greater peril, testing their courage, resolve, and ability to resist its deadly allure.

With ancient evil closing in from all sides and the promise of freedom still frustratingly out of reach, the party must decide which is more dangerous: the horrors they can see in the darkness... or the light beckoning them deeper into it.

In Dark Lullaby – Episode 04, Eric, Carmen, and Kody arrive in the picturesque town of Austin, Maine, determined to follow the trail left behind by Amber's investigation. At first glance, the community appears idyllic: welcoming locals, rolling vineyards, and the sort of small-town charm that seems untouched by the troubles of the outside world.

But first impressions can be deceiving. While Kody seeks answers from the town's priest, delving into Austin's history and traditions, Carmen pursues a very different line of inquiry with the proprietor of the local "sports" store—a business whose inventory and clientele raise more than a few eyebrows.

As fragments of the town's past begin to emerge, so too does the unsettling feeling that Austin is keeping secrets. The deeper the investigators dig, the more they begin to suspect that Amber may have uncovered something the town would rather remain buried.

Nuggy, Morgan, and Gjord, accompanied by the faithful wolf Gary and the steadfast Imperial guardsman Bob, press ever deeper into the sepulchral depths in search of a way back to the world of the living.

The crypt seems determined to resist them at every turn. Ancient passageways twist into darkness, forgotten tombs conceal fresh dangers, and the restless dead rise again and again to bar their path. Every victory comes at a cost, and with each new chamber explored, the party begins to realise just how vast—and how old—this subterranean labyrinth truly is.

With no hope of retreat and no certainty of escape, the heroes must keep moving forward. For in the Forgotten Crypt, standing still is often the quickest route to becoming one of its permanent residents.
