  • Ep 43 – The Livestream Lie – The Murder of Natalie McNally
    May 20 2026
“In a home in Northern Ireland, a camera was turned on — but what it showed wasn’t the truth.” In 2022, concern began to grow around the disappearance of a young pregnant woman. Messages had stopped. Contact had faded. And those closest to her were left trying to understand what had changed — and when. At the centre of it was Stephen McCullagh — a local YouTuber who, at first, appeared to account for his movements in an unusual way. A livestream. A visible presence. A digital alibi that seemed, on the surface, to place him somewhere else entirely. But as investigators began to examine timelines more closely, the sequence of events no longer aligned as cleanly as it first appeared. The livestream itself became part of the enquiry — not as confirmation, but as something to be tested, questioned, and ultimately dismantled. What followed was a case built on reconstruction: of movements, of digital evidence, and of a narrative that had been carefully put forward — but could not withstand scrutiny. This week, the Archive examines a crime shaped by deception in the digital age — where presence could be manufactured, and where the truth had to be uncovered frame by frame. Some alibis are built to be seen. Others are built to mislead. • Ep 42 - The Devil’s Daughter - Sharon Carr
    May 13 2026
“In Camberley, a young woman left a nightclub and disappeared into the dark. By morning, her body had been found near a cemetery path — and the truth, when it finally emerged, seemed almost impossible to believe.” In 1992, 18-year-old Katie Rackliff was found murdered near Farnborough. The attack was so violent, so extreme, that police believed they were hunting a man. But years later, the investigation led somewhere no one had expected. To a schoolgirl. Sharon Carr was just twelve years old when Katie was killed. What followed became one of the most disturbing stories in modern British crime — not only because of the brutality of the murder, but because of what it forced people to confront about childhood, violence, intent, and capability. This week, the Archive examines the killing of Katie Rackliff — and the long shadow cast by the girl who would become known as The Devil’s Daughter. Some cases are frightening for their cruelty. Others for their impossibility. This one was both. • Ep 41 - Blood in the Valley - The Clydach Murders
    May 6 2026
“In a quiet Welsh village, four lives were taken in a single night — and nothing would ever feel ordinary again.” In June 1999, the village of Clydach awoke to unimaginable horror. Inside a family home, Mandy Power, her two young daughters, and her elderly mother were found brutally murdered. The violence was concentrated, personal, and devastating — leaving a small community reeling and the rest of Wales in shock. As detectives began piecing together the timeline, the case became larger than one house — drawing intense scrutiny, fierce debate, and years of argument over what mattered most: the evidence, the narrative, and what a jury could be asked to accept. This week, the Archive examines one of Wales’s most significant modern cases — tracing the night itself, the investigation that followed, and the questions that never fully stop circulating around it. Some crimes fracture a community. The Archive remembers the fault lines — and what was built across them.
