He is Grammy, Golden Globe and Oscar winning singer, songwriter and actor. He wrote songs for A Star is Born and won an Oscar for “Evergreen”. He wrote “Rainbow Connection” for Kermit the Frog. He scored multiple hits with songs covered by The Carpenters such as “We’ve Only Just Begun”, ‘Rainy Days and Mondays” and Three Dog Night’s “Old Fashioned Love Song” and “Family of Man”. He has a legacy of songs to his credit. He has also appeared in films and TV shows such as Battle for the Planet of the Apes, The Smokey and The Bandit movies, The Love Boat, The Muppet show and was omnipresent on talk shows in the 70’s and 80’s. There is far too much to list. Paul Williams will be at ComicCon in Providence this weekend all three days Fri-Sun.
