The role of the prophet is to inform and instruct God's people, to affirm what is right and confirm what is wrong. His mission is to direct God's people back to Him and glorify His holy name. Thus, the Ols Testament prophets spoke of the death and resurrection and though they do not make sense when they spoke, but at its fulfillment; everyone saw the hands of God at work in His words. God's word is true!

In the New Testament, we see a high priest speaking just (to him) ordinary words and prophetically revealing the will of God in Chrsit Jesus. May God's words find expression in us. Amen and Amen
