• S2.Finale What I Learned About Finding My People
    Jun 29 2026

As we wrap up our Find Your People season, I'm reflecting on what I learned about friendship, community, vulnerability, and receiving support during one of the hardest seasons our family has faced.

When I started this season, I thought finding your people meant building deeper friendships and creating stronger connections. What I didn't expect was that life would give me the opportunity to experience firsthand what happens when you actually need those people.

Over the past few months, our family has walked through a serious accident, unexpected medical challenges, hospital stays, and a lot of uncertainty. Through it all, I learned something I'll carry with me for a long time:

The people who show up matter.

In this episode, I'm sharing the lessons that surprised me most about community, asking for help, accepting support, and recognizing the people who quietly carry part of the load when life gets heavy.

    In This Episode

💜 Why asking for help is harder than I realized

💜 How community is revealed during difficult seasons

💜 The small acts of kindness that made a lasting impact

💜 What it means to truly receive support

💜 Why the people who show up matter

    Reflection Questions
    • Who is in my village?
    • Have I thanked them?
    • Who needs me right now?
    • What kind of friend do I want to be moving forward?
    • Am I willing to receive help when it's offered?
    This Week's Gentle Step

Reach out to one person who has shown up for you.

    Thank them.

Tell them what their support meant.

    Don't assume they know.

    Looking Ahead

Next season, we'll be reading How Women Rise and exploring the habits and patterns that can quietly hold us back from becoming who we're meant to be.

Together, we'll have honest conversations about confidence, growth, self-awareness, and giving ourselves permission to move forward with grace.

  • S1.E13 Carry What Matters
    Mar 30 2026

This season wasn’t about becoming someone new — it was about refining who you already are.

In this closing episode of the quarter, we reflect on what we are intentionally carrying forward: kinder internal dialogue, a more intentional Sunday planning rhythm, protected white space, and releasing unrealistic standards that once created pressure.

We also share one of the most surprising lessons of the season — how meaningful and stabilizing community can be during seasons of change and growth.

Growth becomes deeper when we walk through it together.

    Clarity matters. Connection deepens it.

    This Week’s Gentle Step

During your next weekly planning session, try one of these:

    • Write three things you’re carrying forward from this season.

    • Write one belief you’re releasing.

    • Circle one rhythm you want to protect moving forward.

    • Write the name of someone who is walking with you in this season.

Carry forward what supports you. Let go of what doesn’t.

  • S1.E12 Be Kind to Yourself
    Mar 23 2026

Without affection for ourselves, we will always be tired.

In this episode of Monday Musings with The Blended Mama, we reflect on the quiet comparison many women experience — not with others, but with past versions of themselves.

Especially during seasons where capacity shifts, it can be easy to measure current progress against what used to feel effortless. But growth doesn’t always look like doing more. Sometimes it looks like adjusting your rhythm and learning to move forward with self-kindness.

Through weekly reflection, highlighting progress instead of perfection, and writing simple affirmations during weekly planning, Teresa shares practical ways to build sustainability through compassion and intentional planning.

    Growth doesn’t require old speeds.

    This Week’s Gentle Step

During your next weekly planning session, try one of these:

    • Highlight one piece of progress from the past week.

    • Rewrite one self-critical thought with kindness.

    • Add a short affirmation at the start of your week describing how you want to feel.

Let the paper remind you that progress is still happening.
