  • 55. Michelle Moore | Grace in the Pivot: Insights in Resilience, Leadership, and Living Fully
    Nov 10 2025

Michelle Moore's journey mirrors the reality many working moms live—building a demanding career, juggling school drop-offs during conference calls, and trying to be present while carrying the weight of providing. Her story takes a sharp turn through breast cancer, a sick child, and burnout, ultimately teaching her to slow down, set boundaries, and value quality over quantity. Her path shows that our kids remember connection more than perfection, and that even in our busiest seasons, we can raise grounded, compassionate children while learning to give ourselves more grace.

"Most of the good things that happen come from being slow and thoughtful, you don't have to push and control everything."- Michelle

    Empowering insights from this episode:

    • Balancing a demanding career with motherhood is messy, exhausting, and still deeply meaningful.
    • You can chase stability and ambition while raising kids—support systems make it possible.
    • "Doing it all" isn't the goal; being present in the moments that matter is what your kids remember.
    • Burnout, health scares, and setbacks don't define you—they can reshape your priorities for the better.
    • You're allowed to slow down, set boundaries, and reject perfection without sacrificing success.
    • Quality experiences, not constant availability, create the strongest bond with your children.

  • 54. Who I Was, Who I Am: Rediscovering Yourself and Rethinking Work
    Nov 10 2025

This episode opens with Angela Tait's candid reflection on losing herself in motherhood and the small acts of self-care and honest connection that helped her rebuild. She shares how these experiences inspired the Mom-me Podcast, a space for working moms navigating the messy middle between career and parenthood, and underscores the need for real workplace support, flexibility, and empathy. Her message centers on reminding moms they're not alone and that open conversations can create lasting change for the next generation.

"It wasn't a big life overhaul—it was the little things that helped me find myself again."

What this episode offers for moms:

    • The silent struggle of "losing yourself" in motherhood is more common than most admit—and you're not alone.
    • Hormones, exhaustion, and the pressure to "do it all" can make even the most capable moms question who they are.
    • Small acts of self-care and reconnecting with old passions can be a lifeline back to yourself.
    • Honest conversations with other moms can dissolve isolation and validate what you're feeling.
    • Many women aren't leaving careers because they lack ambition—they're leaving because workplaces don't support real-life motherhood.
    • Flexible, empathetic, and inclusive environments aren't perks; they're essential for keeping talented moms in the workforce.
    • Reclaiming your identity doesn't mean choosing between motherhood and your career—you can honor both.
    • When moms share their stories, they shift cultures, reshape leadership, and change what's possible for the next generation.
